BLOB is a camera for building one video out of many.
Record a layer, draw or place a shape to mask it, stack another layer and everything loops together - each layer keeps its own length, so short loops repeat inside longer ones for experimental rhythms, OR select 'lock loop length' so every new recording matches the length of the first.
Trace a mask by hand, or switch to Shape Mode and place a circle, square, triangle, or straight line - diagonal, vertical, or horizontal - sized with a slider and repositioned with a drag. Add an eraser stroke to punch a hole in any mask, undo your way back through actions, and mix hand-drawn and placed shapes freely within the same layer.
Pick a photo or video from your library and it drops in as a floating window - drag to position it, pinch to resize it, with your camera or the stack beneath showing through everywhere it doesn't cover. Pick a PNG with transparency and BLOB traces its actual silhouette. Videos with sound let you choose, per clip, whether to keep the audio or mute it.
Flip between front and back cameras, pinch to zoom, toggle the torch, and lock every layer to the same loop length so a whole stack stays perfectly in sync. When it's done, save a flattened fully composited video straight to your Photos library.
