Meet Black people in your city with BLK Chat—the local group chat built for conversation, culture, and community.
Choose a supported city and join one shared conversation. Ask where everybody’s going this weekend. Trade restaurant recommendations. Talk music, careers, wellness, local events, and everyday life. Or just pull up and see what your city is talking about.
MEET YOUR CITY
Every supported city has one public group chat for Black people nearby. There is no follower contest and no endless feed—just a direct way to talk, be seen, and connect with the community around you.
GO WHERE THE CONVERSATION IS
Moving, traveling, or curious about another city? Find one nearby or choose one manually, then switch anytime. Your exact location is never shown in the chat.
TURN CONVERSATIONS INTO CONNECTIONS
• Reply to messages and add reactions
• Share photos, videos, and links
• Continue the conversation in direct messages
• Create groups around shared interests
• Build a profile that gives people a reason to say hello
MISS A MOMENT, NOT THE CONVERSATION
Messages stay available so you can catch up when you have time and keep good conversations going.
YOUR SPACE, YOUR CONTROLS
Block accounts, report content, and delete your own messages whenever you need to.
Whether you want a recommendation, a new perspective, new people to know, or a better connection to your city, BLK Chat gives you a place to start.
Choose your city. Meet your people.
