Every country you tap opens a full profile: flag, capital, population, area, currency, dial code, which side of the road they drive on, official languages, next-door neighbors, and the local time ticking live at the capital. World Atlas: Country Facts is the pocket reference for people who keep wondering "what do they use for money there?" and want the answer before the thought fades.
Most geography apps are either a dry table or a quiz with a timer. World Atlas is both halves joined properly: a browsable world you can search, sort and compare, and a Daily Drill that keeps asking about the flags and capitals you actually get wrong, so the facts move from the screen into your head.
WHAT YOU GET
• Find any country in seconds by name, capital, currency code or ISO code, then filter by continent and sort by population or area
• Answer the "what time is it there?" question at a glance: every profile shows the live local clock at the capital and its UTC offset
• Know what a dollar buys before you land with a built-in currency converter that works on the plane, no signal required
• Stack two or three countries side by side to see who is bigger, richer in people, or on the same time zone
• Turn flags and capitals into things you remember with a drill that repeats your misses and tracks streak, accuracy and mastered count
• Meet a new country every morning with Country of the Day, and star the ones you are planning to visit
PERFECT FOR
• Travelers who want dial code, currency and driving side in one place before a trip
• Remote workers keeping an eye on several time zones with a pinned world clock
• Students and trivia fans who want to learn flags and capitals without flashcards
• Curious people who like to open a map and just go somewhere
WHY NOT JUST SEARCH THE WEB?
A search gives you one fact on one page, buried under ads, and only while you are online. World Atlas keeps the whole reference in the app: no loading, no tabs, and the same answer on a mountain or in airplane mode. Reference exchange rates and time offsets are stored offline, so the converter and the clocks still work when the network does not.
PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
No account and no sign-in. Your saved countries, pinned clocks and drill progress live on your device, not on our servers, and you can reset your drill history with one tap.
